Chemisil Plus Li is a chemically reactive lithium silicate. It changes the chemical composition of treated surfaces filling the pores and capillaries of the concrete matrix with a hard dense gel. Chemisil Plus Li has a lower viscosity than other silaceous hardeners, allowing it to penetrate deeper into the concrete. Chemisil Plus Li also does not require scrubbing to facilitate penetration, reducing labor costs. Unlike sodium or potassium silicates, Chemisil Plus Li cannot leave an unsightly white salt deposit that is tenatiously bonded to the concrete surface. Should any salts appear, they are easily removed with a light brooming or water rinse.
