Hood SR 601 together with the SR 500 PAPR and approved particulate filters are included in Sundström PAPR respiratory protective devices. The breathing hose of the hood is connected to the PAPR which is equipped with particulate filters. The over-pressure generated in the hood prevents particulate matters from entering the hood. The equipment can be used as an alternative to filter protection in all situations in which the latter is recommended. This applies particularly to situations in which the work is intensive, hot or of long duration.
